Personal statement
I am Pamela Dube a Programme Manager for the NIHR Funded Global Health Research Group on Improving Adolescent Health & Wellbeing in Malawi. My role is to collaboratively and effectively manage the GHRG in carrying out innovative research using multi-disciplinary approaches and interventions in Adolescent Health and Wellbeing. My role strengths are most evident in establishing productive relationships and building networks for the Group and for Early Career Researchers in enhancing their study experience throughout span of the project. I am a humanitarian and international development programmes professional with a keen interest in the acceleration of positive developmental initiatives is Africa. My career background is in communications, project coordination and management, particularly in United Nations entities that focussed on joint coordination projects on gender equality, youth empowerment and resilience programmes amongst others.
